New Alerts: the Whole Market, and a Single Wall in the Book
Price alerts watch one pair. The two new alert types watch everything else: market alerts fire when Fear & Greed, breadth, volume or dominance crosses a threshold you set, and density alerts watch one order-book wall until it gets touched, eaten or pulled. The walls draw on your chart now too.
A price alert watches one pair at one level. Useful, but it covers a fraction of what a trader actually stares at between trades. The other two things are the market's overall mood and the order book, and starting today both take alerts. Market alerts fire when a market-wide number crosses a threshold you set. Density alerts watch one specific order-book wall and tell you when it gets hit, eaten or pulled. Both are live for every account, with caps by plan.
Alerts on the market's own numbers
Everything the market page shows is now alertable. The Fear & Greed index and each of its six ingredients separately: momentum, breadth, trend, funding, buy pressure and volatility. The board numbers too: the share of pairs that are red, the average 24h change (negative thresholds work, "tell me when the average pair is down 5%"), total 24h futures volume in billions, and the volume dominance of BTC, ETH and everything else.
Setting one takes two clicks. Bell buttons sit on the Fear & Greed card and on the board tiles; each opens the dialog with that metric picked and its live value right next to the input, so you are never guessing what "breadth 80" currently means. Alerts are checked every 5 minutes against the exact numbers the page shows, and each fires once per crossing: it arms again only after the value has pulled back from your line, so a reading that hovers at the threshold does not spam you.
Move alerts: watch the change, not the level
On Premium and up, a market alert can watch the change instead of the level. "24h volume up 15% within 15 minutes." "Fear & Greed dropped 20 points inside an hour." Any market metric, up, down or either way, over windows from 5 minutes to a day. One move fires one ping, and the alert re-arms by itself once the move has faded. This is the one to set if what you care about is not where the market is but that something just started happening.
We stopped deciding what counts as news
Until now Osiris sent system-wide market notifications when we thought a sentiment swing deserved everyone's attention. Those are retired. The thresholds were ours, the timing was ours, and for most of you they were either noise or late. Now the market category carries only alerts you set yourself, at numbers you chose. If you want a ping at Extreme Fear, set it at the level that is extreme to you.
Density alerts: a watch on one wall
The densities screener finds large resting orders across four exchanges by rescanning every order book every two seconds. Until now you had to keep the page open to see what a wall did next. Now every wall row carries a bell: press it, and that exact level is watched around the clock. You get one ping when price first touches the wall, and a final one when the story ends, with the verdict in the text: eaten (price traded through it) or pulled (the order was cancelled before price got there, the classic spoof exit).
That second notification is the one we built this for. If you are leaning on a wall as support for a long, the moment it vanishes is the moment your trade thesis changed, and that moment rarely waits until you are looking.
The walls are on your chart now
Same update, same data, one more place to see it: the chart page now draws the scanner's live walls as a depth ladder along the price axis. Green bars for bids below price, red for asks above, each bar sized by the money resting there and labeled with the dollar amount. The ladder refreshes every 3 seconds, so a wall that gets eaten disappears from the chart almost as fast as from the book. The brick button on the chart toolbar hides and shows the walls, and Settings → Chart has the same switch.
Where everything lives
Each alert type has its own page now: Settings → Market Alerts and Settings → Density Alerts, next to the price alerts you already know. Active alerts, history and delivery in one place. Delivery works like price alerts: the on-site bell is always on for alerts you set yourself, and push and Telegram each have their own toggle per alert type in notification settings.
What each plan includes
Basic includes one active market alert alongside its three price alerts, so you can see how the thing behaves before paying anything. Premium raises it to 10 market alerts, adds 10 density alerts and unlocks move alerts. Trader and Developer run 25 of each. The three pools are separate: a market alert never costs you a price alert slot. Details on the plans page.
When price alerts shipped, the post ended with a promise that alert types built on the walls and the market numbers were coming. This is that update. The next one is on the list already; if you want a condition watched that Osiris does not cover yet, the feedback button is the fastest way to move it up.
Set the first one now: open the market page and press a bell.
