Signal Alerts: Watch Structure, Not Just Price
A price alert asks "did it reach my number". The four new signal alerts ask "did something change in how this pair trades": a big order parks in the book, funding flips sign, volatility leaves the pair's normal range, the trend turns. They stand watch around the clock and ping each time it happens, with the noise filtered out.
Every alert Osiris had until now watched a number you chose in advance: a price level, a percent move, a market reading. Useful, but a scalper's real edge is often noticing that something changed before the price shows it, and you don't know in advance at what price a whale will park five million dollars of bids. So this update adds a second family: signal alerts, standing watches on a pair's market structure. Four signals, one dialog, and they never retire: a signal alert stays armed and pings each time its condition happens again.
Big order: whale radar
"Tell me when a wall of at least $1M appears in this book." The densities scanner already reads every order book on every venue we track; now it announces births, not just deaths. Pick the side you care about, set your size floor, and the moment a resting order that big parks within 10% of the price, you know: size, level, distance, in the bell, on your phone and in Telegram.
Two things keep it honest. A wall only counts after it has survived about half a minute in the book, so the spoofed flash orders that paint every crypto tape never reach you. And one alert pings at most once per 10 minutes however busy the book gets. The dialog also shows the walls standing in the book right now, live; tap one and the alert aims itself at that wall's side and size.
Funding: who pays whom
Funding is crowd positioning in one signed number, and the moments worth knowing are when it flips. "Funding turned negative" means shorts started paying longs. "Funding above 0.1%" is a crowded long paying through the nose. "Below -0.05%" is short-squeeze fuel accumulating. Set a sign flip or a level cross; flips are judged past a small dead-band, so a rate wobbling around zero stays silent, and a level alert re-arms only after the rate has genuinely retreated.
Volatility: the pair left its normal range
Absolute volatility thresholds are a trap: 2% is a dead day on a small alt and a heart attack on BTC. So this alert is relative to the coin itself. It fires when the current candle's range or move reaches a multiple you pick, 2x to 6x, of what has been typical for that pair on that timeframe. One setting works for every coin, which makes it the closest thing to a doorbell for the pairs you trade: when one of them wakes up, you hear about it inside a minute.
Trend: the regime turned
The screener's trend ranking runs on a composite score: EMA spread, MACD and RSI, weighted by trend strength. A trend alert watches that score for one pair, on the local horizon (the lower timeframes) or the global one, and fires when it crosses into clearly bullish or bearish territory. It re-arms once the pair has cooled back to sideways, so one regime change is one notification, not forty pings while the score hovers at the line.
Standing, not one-shot
Signal alerts never move to a history list. Each one is a cross detector: it fires, goes quiet, and re-arms only after the value genuinely retreats. A condition that already holds when you create the alert does not fire either; the alert waits for the next real cross. Per-signal cooldowns sit on top. And if your plan ever lapses, your signal alerts pause rather than disappear: they are kept exactly as configured and switch back on by themselves when a plan that includes them is active again.
Where everything lives
The same bell you already use: press it on any chart or screener tile and the dialog now opens with two families, price alerts and signal alerts, each with its own tabs. Everything you have standing sits under Settings → Signal Alerts with how often each one has fired. Delivery works like every Osiris alert: the bell is always on, push and Telegram have their own toggles, and quiet hours apply. The full write-up lives in the knowledge base.
What each plan includes
Premium includes 5 active signal alerts, Trader and Developer 25, shared across the four types and separate from your price, market and density pools. While we were at it, the plans page got rebuilt as a real comparison: all four cards now list the same rows in the same order, with the counts highlighted, so you can see exactly what each tier carries without reading four different lists.
This family will grow. Advanced conditions are on the list, like a trend alert that fires when the short-term trend turns against the long-term one, and market-wide versions ("any coin: a $5M wall appears") are planned once the heavier infrastructure lands. If there is a condition you want watched first, the feedback button is the fastest way to move it up.
Set the first one now: open any chart, press the bell, pick Signal alert.
