Market snapshot

One call, every pair: price, 24h change, rolling volumes and their growth, volatility, taker delta, trade counts, funding and BTC correlation, recomputed every 10 seconds.

GET/v1/market
GET/v1/market/{symbol}

The market snapshot is the workhorse endpoint: a compact pre-computed summary of the entire futures universe, rebuilt every 10 seconds by the metrics engine. When you need "the state of everything right now" (for a dashboard grid, a scanner pass, or feature vectors across all pairs), one snapshot call replaces hundreds of per-symbol requests.

/v1/market returns the full map keyed by symbol; /v1/market/{symbol} returns a single pair's row (same shape, wrapped with the symbol and timestamp). The asOf field is the engine's rebuild timestamp. If you cache, key on it: a new asOf means new data, an unchanged one means the snapshot hasn't rolled yet.

Field reference

FieldDescription
priceLast traded price.
change24-hour price change, percent.
fundingCurrent (predicted) funding rate as a decimal: 0.0001 is the standard 0.01% baseline. See Funding for the full picture.
aprThat funding rate annualized at the pair's payment interval, percent: the cost/yield of holding the position for a year at today's rate.
corrPearson correlation of the pair's recent returns with BTCUSDT. Near 1 = moves with bitcoin; near 0 = trades its own story, usually pair-specific news or flow.
vol.m15 / h1 / h24USDT quote volume over the trailing 15 minutes / hour / 24 hours.
vol.growCurrent volume pace vs its own recent average (1.0 = normal, 2.0 = double). The quickest "is something happening here" flag in the snapshot.
natr.m1 / m5Normalized ATR on 1-minute and 5-minute bars, percent of price: realized volatility at scalping horizons, comparable across pairs of any price.
delta.m5 / h1Net taker flow in USDT over 5 minutes / 1 hour: taker buys minus taker sells. Positive = aggressive buying; the sign and trend matter more than the absolute number.
trades.h1 / h24Trade counts over the trailing hour / 24 hours.
trades.growTrade-count pace vs recent average. Rising trade count with flat volume = smaller orders (retail); the reverse = larger orders (size stepping in).

Usage patterns

  • Scanner pass: pull /v1/market, filter client-side (e.g. vol.grow > 2 and natr.m5 > 0.3), then deep-dive survivors with Metrics and Levels. Two requests plus one per candidate.
  • Dashboard grid: poll the full snapshot every 10 s (matching its rebuild cadence) and diff asOf to skip no-op renders.
  • Cross-sectional features: the snapshot is a ready-made feature matrix (527 pairs × 14 numbers) refreshed every 10 s; many quant users store it as a time series and never touch per-symbol endpoints.
If what you actually want is the market page's aggregates (breadth, fear & greed, dominance, top gainers), that's the Market overview endpoint, which computes them for you from this same snapshot.
