Price Alerts

Price alerts turn Osiris from a screen you watch into a system that watches for you. Set a condition on any perpetual pair, on any exchange Osiris tracks, and the engine evaluates it around the clock against the same live candle feed that powers the screener. When it fires, the notification reaches you within a second, wherever you are. Each alert remembers which venue it was set on, so an alert on a coin listed in several places watches the market you actually trade.

Alerts belong to an account, so this is one of the features that needs you signed in, a free account included. The free Basic plan comes with three of them.

The two alert types

Price level is the classic: "tell me when BTCUSDT crosses 120,000". You pick a level above or below the current price, and the alert fires the moment the live price reaches it. Because the level always starts on the far side of the market price, reaching it and crossing it are the same event, so there are no false fires from a level that was already passed.

% move is the scalper's radar: "tell me if ETHUSDT moves ±3% within 15 minutes". It watches the current candle of the timeframe you choose (anything from 5m to 1d) and fires when that candle's move from its open exceeds your threshold, in the direction you choose (up, down, or either). This is how you catch breakouts and dumps as they start, without staring at the screener all day.

Creating alerts

The fastest way is the bell button on any chart; every screener tile and every chart page has one. It opens the alert dialog pre-filled with that pair and its live price, so setting a level takes two clicks. The same dialog also lists the pair's existing alerts, where you can edit a level or delete an alert without leaving the chart.

For an overview of everything you have set, go to Settings → Price Alerts: active alerts with their live distance to trigger, a history of fired ones, and per-section clear buttons. Charts carrying an active alert show a ringing bell badge, and the alert level itself is drawn on the chart as a dashed line.

One-shot and repeating alerts

By default an alert is one-shot: it fires once, moves to the Triggered list, and can be re-armed with a single click whenever you want it again. On paid plans you can mark an alert as repeating: it re-arms itself after each trigger. Repeating level alerts wait for the price to pull away from the level before they can fire again, so a price oscillating around your line will not flood you; repeating % move alerts fire at most once per candle.

How alerts reach you

  • On site: the notification bell in the header, plus an instant toast in any open tab.
  • Push: a native notification on every device where you enabled push, even with Osiris closed. On iPhone and iPad this requires adding Osiris to your Home Screen first.
  • Telegram: a direct message from the Osiris bot. Link your Telegram once in Settings → Notifications and every alert type can reach you there, each with its own toggle.

All three channels are configured per category on the notification settings page: you decide what reaches the bell, your devices and your Telegram independently. See Notifications for the full grid.

Limits and housekeeping

Every plan includes price alerts: the free tier can keep 3 alerts active at once, and paid plans raise the cap substantially (25 on Premium, 50 on Trader and Developer) and add repeating alerts. Fired one-shot alerts are kept in your history for 30 days (the notification bell keeps its own log), and if a pair is ever delisted from the exchange it was set on, its alerts are removed automatically and you are told about it.

Practical patterns

  • Levels from the densities scanner: set level alerts just beyond large order-book walls; a wall being eaten is often the start of a move.
  • A wide % net: a repeating ±3% / 15m alert on the pairs you trade is a permanent breakout radar that costs you nothing while the market sleeps.
  • Re-arm instead of recreate: after a level fires and the market comes back, one click in the Triggered list re-arms the exact same alert.

Common questions

How do alerts reach me?

Three channels, each with its own toggle: the notification bell on the site, native push on any device where you enabled it (on iPhone and iPad, add Osiris to the Home Screen first) and a Telegram direct message from the Osiris bot.

How many alerts can I have?

Three active alerts on the free plan, 25 on Premium and 50 on Trader and Developer. Paid plans also unlock repeating alerts that re-arm themselves after each trigger.

Will a repeating alert spam me?

No. A repeating level alert waits for the price to pull away from the level before it can fire again, so oscillation around your line does not flood you, and a repeating % move alert fires at most once per candle.

What alert types does Osiris have?

Two. A price level alert fires the moment the live price reaches a level you set. A % move alert watches the current candle of a timeframe you choose (5m to 1d) and fires when its move from the open exceeds your threshold, in the direction you picked.
